A classic wine, structured and intense.

Region: Côte de Beaune  |  Village: Pommard  |  Level: Village |  AOC: Pommard Grapes: Pinot Noir |  Color: red

Vineyards: Les Riottes, Les Charmots 1er Cru, Les Bertins 1er Cru, Les Vaumuriens bas, La Vache, Les Rugiens bas 1er Cru.

History of the Cuvée: Monsieur and Madame Cyrot- Chaudron left their vineyards to the Hospices de Beaune in 1979. The gift included several plots of ancient vines, which were in perfect condition, yielding small quantities of fine fruit, and many of these have been retained. The Premier Cru vines are situated in Les Charmots, Bertins and Rugiens bas.

Tasting Notes: Shining red robe. Intense nose of black berries with hints of mild spices. A rather fresh and structured mouth follows, with a fine density. Beautiful potential.
